Thoughts: On inexpensive soda blasters
This is on sale for $100: http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/cta...emnumber=66742
I am doing some floor pan repair work and it might help to get those hard to reach spots. What are your thoughts on this? Or do you think an abrasive blaster is the better option? http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/cta...emnumber=40925 Or do you think I am being too paranoid? about my rust removal? You can see some of the rust that I am dealing with in my photo journal: http://www.hotrodders.com/forum/jour...ournalid=27517 Last edited by Riot Racing; 07-05-2009 at 11:22 PM. |

you will find that soda will hardly touch rust. Looking at you journal, I think I would weld in the new panels and go the POR15 route.

I use abrasive and of the metal is so thin that the abrasive exposes holes and such i feel it needs new metal anyway. So i blast most everything and make patches..That is just what I would do..others may differ..
