Thread and Needle sizes

Been learning auto upholstery as a hooby. Mainly my own cars. Normally I use Ultrleather and Ultrsuede, find them real easy to use and stretch. I have a Consew 206rb machine and have been using the 22 needles that came with it and thread that I order from a auto upholstery supplier. Where is a chart that tells which needle to use with differnt threads. Also, where can I find the heavy large thread used on the French seams that are in latet model GM cars??? What #age is it and what needle size. Thanks for your help GREAT BB at Hotrodders.!! (check out my 1st seat job my 36 Ford in the Journal "snkbyt")

Needles and Thread

Glad to have helped. I don't know who you use to purchase needles but
I deal with these people http://www.sewweb.com/html/needles.html
You don't have to buy them by the box or 100 count, no one here in New JerZ will sell a clip of 10 or less , it's a great deal for me .

I'm going to do my interior also, it will be the first one ...

And thanks on my project pic's
