Thread sealant on some brake fittings?

Yes I know brake sealant is not considered good on brake fittings. But some brake caliper adapters and speed bleeders are factory equipped with some kind of thread sealant, isn't they?

On my GM master sylinder I have a very hard time making the adapter fittings seal. It's the fittings that adapts from the original, large threads and down to 3/16 IFF threads.

That is not a sealant, it is more of a type of thread antigall almost a type of lubricant so as not to sieze.

blue locktite can be used. It works well as a sealant so long as you not using on a flare type fitting.
