Three things

Hey guys,
No big reason for asking this question other than being curious.
Say you run into another car guy and start talking about each others cars. What are the 'three' main things that you want to tell him about your ride?

For example...
1) The big block under the hood
2) An upcoming cruise with a bunch of others
3) Planned modifications

Thanks
R

HAHA!
I have a planned restoration that's been sitting in the garage for 2 years.

No. The best I could do was call Holley. They did not have a clue either. I still have it.

Depends on which car I have with us at the time:

T-Bucket:

1) Will do 0-60 mph in 3.85 seconds if you can keep it hooked up.
2) Not a kit, but not scratch-built either - a collection of parts and fabrication made to work together.
3) Sweet, tight little cruiser with good street manners.

London Roadster (1952 MGTD replica kit car):

1) Wife's seasonal car.
2) Air-cooled Volkswagen frame and engine.
3) I found, rebuilt, and installed a fully automatic VW003 transmission in it - my wife can't drive stick.

2001 Corvette convertible:

1) 22,000 miles and all stock except for tires and CAGS eliminator
2) My seasonal car # 2
3) Have owned 4 Corvettes (others were a '66, '67, and '73) and the '01 is the best of the bunch

my wife built the motor???? Man I wish I could say that...
First I'd say how little I had into it.
second that I did it all myself
third how much help I got from hotrodders.com.

Reality check,,,

How about the first three things that are actually most commonly said when someone else looks at your ride,,,

"did you do it yourself"?
"how long have you had it"?
and last but not least,,,"hey I think there is a flaw right here"

She built a SB 400 for her Malibu years ago. Did it all. The only stipulation this time was I had to clean the oil pan. I love her anyway.
