throttle body adapter needed ?

Hi Everyone, it's been a while.
I am wondering. Will a chevy 454 TB fit a 350 intake, or will I need an adapter plate ?
I put a whipple supercharger on the 350 after I got back from Iraq. Now I have put Edelbrock heads, cam, & intake on, & bored .30 over. I spoke to the guy that designed this particular blower, & he told me that I need a 454 TB. So like I asked, will a 454 TB fit a 350 intake ??
Thanks for your help. Shane

I think GM used an adapter on the original 454 TBI's to mount them on a 4-bbl intake.

The throttle body bolt patterns are the same but the 454 unit has larger throttle bores and stock 350 manifold will require a spacer with larger throttle bores or the bores will need to be machined out to clear but I believe the Edelbrock TBI intake will accept the 454 TB without modification.
