Hey guys i got my tranny back together, thanks xntrik for the helpful info, although i cannot put it to good use yet because my engine is on a stand right now but as soon as i have my heads and intake and everything back on, thatll be the first thing i do is check my flywheel and torque converter. wouldnt i have noticed from day one if i were using the wrong flex plate or torque converter? ive been running the same motor and tranny combo for about a summer and a half in 2 different cars and havent changed a thing, why all of a sudden? and if it were the wrong flex plate wouldnt i have problems with the starter engagement? i also know that when i bolt my torque converter to my flywheel i have to slide it ahead close to half an inch or so, is this too much or is it normal? i wish i had your brains xntrik, id probably have a minty drivetrain thx for the help again, ttyl
