machine shop tom, sounds like you know your stuff, i DO have a larger cam but my transmission doesnt have any vaccuum lines running to the manifold although there is a spot on the tranny for a vaccuum line which is blocked off, i was told my tranny is a "manual shift", i find this hard to believe because when i put it in drive it starts in 1 then goes to 2 and then 3?...should i run a vaccuum line once everythings in and see what happens? if so where does the vaccuum go on the manifold?. i also have an external tranny cooler and i dont run the fluid through the rad..should i be?, ill check for any kinks in the line and get out the airgun and give the cooler a shot and see what happens, thanks again, Tim.....PS i had an ATP shift kit installed about 2-3 weeks before my motor started making this funny noise, would this have caused the excessive tranny pressures or was this just a coincidence?
