ticking

Hi I have a 454 in my 52 chev truck when i start it and let it warm up it starts to tick Good oil pressure rockers are tight changed the lifters .any ideas ???? what it might be.

may be your rockers , did you inspect the ball rocker cups .
also you sure that its inside motor .
i have had noises that sound like ticking only to be exhaust leak .
leaking out bolt hole on my wrecker .
have a belt slapping also making ticking noise on a 350 in another truck .
your rockers not hitting valve cover ?

i checked all that everythings good
i used a scope and i can here it on the pass side of the motor.

how old the timing chain ?
are you running the stock fuel pump ? can you un-bolt it and give a listen ?
the rod to it , maybe sticking or bent causing it to have lash making ticking noise .
hook up a lawn mower fuel tank and hang from hood to run long enough to try .
swap rocker arms if you have some extra's , are they riding all dead center on top of valves ?
i pulled hair for days to find out my exhaust was my problem on my 73 chevy wrecker , stock manifold leaking out bolt hole .
have lots to tell me i need to adjust valves ,till i show them the leak .
