ticking noise

Hello to everybody I'm new to hotroding I just recently picked up a 83 c10 with a built 355
And today while showing it to a friend I noticed a ticking noise then when I got inside and looked at my gauges I have no oil pressure at idle and it hadn't done this before. What could it be some have said it could be my crank shaft bearing others have said cam bearing I'm not realy shure what to do could someone give advice

First of all, check the oil level. Do you have a mechanical or electric gauge? A mechanical gauge will have a small line running to it instead of a wire.
