I'm trying to figure out what gaskets I need. Do these look like oval port to you guys?

i have percys on mine they work great soft aluminum

Mr. Gasket 7401G : Mr. Gasket Aluminum Exhaust Gasket - SB Chevy Square Port


Just run down to your local auto parts store and pick up a set like this. I cant tell from your pics, but more than likely it is a square.

Yeah, that's the ones I'm planning on ordering as soon as I figure out for sure what port that is on my headers.

Alright thanks, if I can find some local, that will work too.

Yeah, I don't know for sure how to tell what port it is.

If you have another vehicle to drive to the parts store, take the old one out first, take it along with you to the parts store to match to the new one.

I called and talked to the tech dept. at Jegs, and the guy seemed to think that since my headers are 1 7/8 diameter, that I would need a round port gasket. Does that sound right to you guys?

I'll be having someone install the gaskets, that's why I'm trying to figure out which gaskets I need before hand.

With 1 7/8 size headers, is there a certain size gasket I should get?

i would go to autozone or some other parts store and get both,then take back the pair that arent the rite ones
