Hello Clyde,
Why not just change the angle of attack. The hole in the floor and reposition the column to your liking.

TYPO CORRECTION........................
CHANGE THE HOLE IN THE FLOOR AND REPOSITION THE COLUMN TO YOUR LIKING. GO TO borgeson.com AND CHECK THEIR UNIVERSAL JOINTS & SHAFTS.
I SHORTENED A GM COLUMN OUT OF A TRANS AM TO WORK IN MY 50 CHAMP, AND EVEN THOUGH I WAS SUCCESSFUL IN MAKING IT WORK, I DIDN'T LIKE THE LOOK. I EVENTUALLY BOUGHT A STAINLESS COLUMN FROM IDIDIT COLUMNS.
