tilt column in 55 studebaker
hey,
i'm putting a gm tilt column in a 55 studebaker and i don't like the angle of the column. anybody out there have photos of their tilt column installation. i sure could use some idea helpon what column to use etc.etc.. thanks studebaker clyde

Hello Clyde,
Why not just change the angle of attack. The hole in the floor and reposition the column to your liking. 1950 Studebaker Resto-Rod Project http://www.angelfire.com/super/1950bulletnose TYPO CORRECTION........................ CHANGE THE HOLE IN THE FLOOR AND REPOSITION THE COLUMN TO YOUR LIKING. GO TO borgeson.com AND CHECK THEIR UNIVERSAL JOINTS & SHAFTS. I SHORTENED A GM COLUMN OUT OF A TRANS AM TO WORK IN MY 50 CHAMP, AND EVEN THOUGH I WAS SUCCESSFUL IN MAKING IT WORK, I DIDN'T LIKE THE LOOK. i think i found a column from a 69 buick that looks like it will work
