I was reading on the 51 panel tilt frotn end and was wondering if it can be done on a 69 chevelle. I was wondering how easy it is and what the cost usually is. if anyone has done it to a 69 chevelle or sumtin like that please let me know how ya like it. it sounds pretty cool. also wondering if the hood gets welded to the fenders and bondo'd so that is looks smooth and no line?

Chevelle, it can be done to any car. Right now I'm making a '77 Trans Am a tilt. Its relitivly easy, but alot of work involved. To answer your question yes and no. It depends on how you want it. Some choose a 'glass front end, some choose to be able to open the hood as well as tilt the entire front sheetmetal, some choose to keep the hood lines with the tilt front end for a more original look, some even choose to make another hood from sheetmetal to clear lexan/plexiglass. The options are endless. If you can wait I will be supplying pictures of the process, if not let me know if you need more information.
