I just took mine apart so I could paint it. I used these instructions:

Mine was already out of the car and probably took four hours to take it apart and back together. I couldn't bring myself to pay a shop to do this, four hours at a $100 per, no thanks. I say DIY and get one more hot rod experience on your resume'.
