Actually the data sheet on the site said that the clear coat could be recoated in a 24 HR period without scuffing. Are you saying this does not soud right? What exactly were you saying about on your s-10? Did you sand between coats?

As for application, I have found that a heavy first coat and two more light coats leaves a damned nice finish. If you get carried away after the first coat it tends to sag, so I just use light coats. Dupont recomends 3 medium coats, but I think the heavy,light,light works better.

As for my local Dupont Rep/Napa Paint mixer, I am not real confident in his information.
