Timing Chain Cover 1986 EFI Mercury

Hello,
I am converting my 55 Ford wagon to a newer engine and trans out of a 1986 Mercury Grand Marquis Wagon 5.0 and Metric AOD every thing fits nicely first thing is OEM Oil pan is a rear sump, Drag link is in the way
Ok I get the front sump pan now it fits OK and clearance problem goes away by adding some 3/8 plate to the motor mounts
Then I see the timing chain cover I bought will not fit holes don't line up the line up but too small
And to top it off the timing chain has slop in it but I will change it.
Is there a $##@xx!!! timing chain cover that will fit without having to drill out the filled in hole where the dipstick and tube go and where can I possibly find it?
Any help will relieve the stress
Thanks,
FORD 2 DR
