Timing diagrams

Hey guys I just put a new proform disturber in my 65 buick 4.9 300 I have the fire order because it was on the valve cover, but I don't know where to start on the disturber cap and where number one is on the left or right of the engine, I believe that on the left of the engine is 2-4-6-8, and the right is 1-3-5-7 ,and the firing order is 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2 a diagram would be fantastic or anything would help. Thanks guys

Looking at the engine, from the rear, #1 is the front cylinder on the left bank and 3,5,& 7 are behind it. 2,4,6,& 8 on the right bank. The post facing the left side (from the rear) is #1. #8 is next, going clockwise, then a cap hold down screw etc. Hope this helped. Bill
