timing drive

What are the advantages/disadvantages with a gear to gear driven timing mechanism compared to the conventional chain type?

gear to gear

gear to gear is a much better setup i think. you dont have to worry about a chain breaking or stretching. i have it on my 5.0 and i wont go back to a chain setup the gear to gear made the motor a lil louder
