timing gears need grinding
i just bought a dual idler noisey timing gear drive for my 327. i installed the cam, thrust bearing, cam and crank gears, and the cam "button". but i have to grind the cam button to clear the timing cover a lil and i have to grind the power idler axle on the block side. does anyone have any tips for me not to grind to much off.

i think you grind the block & not the idler gears, also you don't grind on the cam button. you dent the cover for clearance.
