Some guys LOVE the whine! Some don't. I definitely don't. It's not so loud ... but it makes itself very obvious -- to me, it's like a wife that nags. Instead of hearing my engine-sound, I hear the whine.

Thanks for the info on the Jesel - I want to put a GOOD performance timing chain in place of my gear drive. How much does the Jesel go for? Anyone want to buy my gear drive?
