Timing sets for 400m

im hopping up my 400 and im having a mental block as to what timing set to use. doesany one know if there is a variable cam gear for a cleveland that could possibly work or what type of cam i should use. im looking for torque out of this motor too.

timeing set to beef up a 400m

years ago i built a 400m for a customur, a well known machine shop in portland oregon sujested a 69 351 cleavland timeing set, it get rid of the 6 degree built in retard in the 400 timing set, used a crower baja beast cam, customur was a very happy camper, 3/4 ton truck pulled a 4 horse trailer loaded over the pass without any hesatation
