Timing tabs

I have an 8" balancer on my 327 and the timing mark is at the 12:00 position when I try to time it. Does Mr. Gasket or Trans-dapt sell one that will bolt up to the Gen 1 sbc. or will I have to remark my balancer so I can use the 2:00 position timing tab that I have now?

Remark the balancer. Make sure you check for TDC to get it just right.

I have a Summit #163625 pointer and a Pioneer 872021 damper. The damper is marked 50 deg. BTDC - 10 deg. ATDC . The maximum damper diameter for the pointer is 6.250" OD and the damper is 6.100" OD. Works very good, if I use it. My engine is timed by the ECM and a 1992 R.P.O. 9C1 Police Pursuit ICM which bumps the total advance 4 to 6 degrees between 3000 and 4000 RPM, compared to a regular production emissions ICM.
