Timing tape came off?

I have a BDS balancer and it does not have the timing marks in the balancer so I had to use the tape, well I guess I must not have cleaned the balancer before I put it on and now it came off. So my question is, is there any accurate way of getting TDC with out using my degree wheel?

You could try putting something in the spark plug hole to stop the piston before tdc and make a mark, then turn it backwards till the piston stops and make a mark, then just split the marks. It's not as accurate as with the head off and a degree wheel, but might get you close enough.
