Tip of the day #27

Tip of the day 27.

Save any magnets from those old car speakers before tossing them.
Magnets work great for placing over your masking materials to
keep the paper or plastic from blowing around.
They hold really tight even upside down.

I agree. You can also pull the magnetic strip out of old refriderator and freezer seals and these work good for a lot of uses.

Excellent tip! I have a number of small, strong magnets that I use to hold my fire blankets when welding.

They're also great for picking up stuff (like nails and screws) after I knock over the box they were in.

When picking up stuff stick the magnet in a plastic bag, pick up the stuff then turn the bag inside out and pull off the magnet. All the parts are in the bag and the magnet stays clean, no metal chips and other crap sticking to it.

Put large magnets along the ouside of your tool box and you can suspend your tools from inside. Magnets are really handy. No more messy pile of wrenches.

Good ideas.
I have several I have masking tape on for graphic mask hold'er on'ers.
If you ever have a computer drive crash on you, take the old one apart. They have some SERIOUS little magnets inside as well as a kick *** mirror (the disc itself).
