Tip of the day #31
Tip of the day 31 - gloves.
Keep a clean pair of cotton gloves just for handeling clean panels. After I wet sand and clean a removed panel like a hood I grab my gloves to pick it up and hang it for painting. Even with clean hands you'll transfer fingerprints when lifting something bulky and heavy without them. Disposable gloves work too but a pair of clean cotton gloves lasts and you can always run them through the washer. I haven't found them to have a lint issue but you may want to wash a new pair to break them in. The trick is keeping them stored clean and used only for that. |
