Tip of the Day #47
Tip of the Day 47.
When chemical stripping heavy build-up, coat the panel heavily with stripper and cover with a cheap plastic drop-cloth, like the 99 cent cheapies found at Wall-Mart. You can let it stay covered all night if you have the time and by the next day it will be like a pizza crust and less messy to remove. The stripper will work much deeper because it won't dry out as fast. Even just an hour under the plastic really helps the process.

A similar method involves using kitchen plastic wrap, like "Saran Wrap". This is a good tip, jc!

Great idea Crashtech, thanks. I think the Saran Wrap would work even be even better when forming to contours and edges. And especially small areas. |

Yeah the plastic trick works great, I've never tried saran wrap but I bet it works just fine, I wouldn't use an electric blanket though...
