Tire Iron for metal working doors
I can't believe it works so good. I saw it at a swap meet and picked it up for $5.
Today I worked on an old Toyota jeep looking thing and the doors are dead flat and since it has no arch it was caved in and need shrinking, but before that there was needed metal work. A tire iron worked wonders when prying it against the door frame and pulling up on the lows and banging down the highs from the opposite side. The area that pushes up on the door is nice and rounded to. Anyhow, this pic below is similar to the one I have but mine seems to be an old school one and has more curve. Don't get me wrong, this is a useless tool but for working a door off the car it was a hero today. http://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=...w=1440&bih=719 |
