tire performance curves
I was wondering if anyone knows where i can find tire performance curves online, or anywhere else.
By tire performance curve i mean a graph of Traction (lateral load) VS WEIGHT (vertical load) for the given tire. The tire im looking for is: American Racer 15.0 / 7.0 - 8S M32 any help appreciated Last edited by BrandAM; 02-25-2009 at 01:12 PM.

I suspect you'd have better luck if you googled using "lateral force" instead of "traction." "Traction" refers to the tire's performance in braking or forward acceleration.
The effect of tire load is usually presented as a family of curves in a "lateral force vs. slip angle" curve. Traction, in case you're curious, behaves in much the same manner as lateral force, but there is far less information available. http://home.earthlink.net/~whshope over 130,000 visitors
