tire sizing questions.
I have an '06 GMC Canyon off road package. The stock tire size is p265 75 R15.
I bought a set of wheels from an '06 Hummer H3 on the cheap. I think they'd look good on my truck. They are 16 inch wheels. What would be the closest size 16 inch tire to buy to try to retain the same height of the 15 inch tires/wheels? I heard that the speedometer would be off if they were bigger. Also, what would the biggest tire I could get under there without clearence issues? I don't want to get into body and/or suspension lifts just yet. thanks |
