Tires

I'm looking for new tires for my 84 Camaro. Right now I'm running
Rear: 275/60 15
Front: 235/60 15

They're a little big for the car and the front scrubs. I'm planning on lower the car and changing the tire size but i want to stick with a 15. Any suggestions? I want to keep a wide profile but loose some of the height on the sidewall.

Check a site like www.tirerack.com or www.discounttire.com
You will be able to look up tires from various manufactures with complete specs and find something that would work for you.

Tires

I've been looking at a few magazines and I think it may be better to go up to a 17. My experience with alot of tire dealerships is that they only sell you what the manual calls for. I have a set of 22's on my wifes Chevy Tahoe and they look and ride good. But I had three different shops tell me they would'nt fit. But I'm thinking maybe the 15 inch wheel is too small.

265/50/15s all around or just on rear and 225/60/15s on front. they are both 25.5 inches tall.
