I'll keep this polite as I don't want to have my thread deleted. Did anybody else watch the race last night?? and if you did what was your opinion of what he(Tony) did to his own team mate??? I am particularly P'd off since I am a FED EX employee and was really psych'd up we were leading. I'll accept opinions either way. Just want to see others thoughts on it.Brian

yeah,I know.He wants to say Denny stopped in the turn  . Well it looked to me like he had a really good run on him, he had a decision to make......go high, feather the throttle, lightly drag the brake. A lot different things besides punt his OWN TEAMMATE and ultimately himself. It was what lap 14??? STUPID :spank: It looks like he's back up to his ole tricks. Coach Gibbs or the sponsors need to set him out a couple of races and I bet his attitude would change. Brian

I am a Gordon fan as well and have been for years but I don't get all freaked out and p'd off when he doesn't win or even run well. unless he gets done like Denny was. I pull for other drivers as well, if my guys get knocked out. I particularly like Mark Martin, talk about a stand up guy. He races clean, and can drive the wheels off of it with the best of them. He's probably too nice, that's probably why he never put a championship trophy on his mantel. :( Brian

yeah, Stewarts comments were not justifiable after the incident. being teammates, they should have raced each other cleaner, but Tony always has to rub on someone, thats just Tony. what about last season when Brian Vickers wrecked Jimmie Johnson on the last lap to win ? so much for teammate comradarie. while its normally team orders to NOT wreck your teammates, all bets are off when youre going for the win. granted, Tony and Denny werent racing for the win, but same principle applies.

as for Mark Martin, i followed him for years, up until he started sponsoring Viagra. i even met him in Fort Worth a few years ago. he IS a stand up guy, but only if you crouch....hes short, like 5'4" or 5'5". cleanest driver ive ever met though.
