Too late to heat cure paint?

Hi guys! Just wondering if there was a time window after you spray something with a paint that requires heat to cure it that it must be done in? I painted the engine fan shroud and fan with High Heat Rustoleum about 3-4 weeks ago. I spoke with the tech manager at rustoleum and they told me that the paint needs to be cured for an hour at 350 degrees, even though there's no mention of it on the can. I'm wondering if it's too late or if now that so much time has gone by it may have cured on it's own? It's a flat black and grey respectively and I'd like to go over it with some engine enamel but I'm afraid if this isn't cured first it will all come off...
