If you are on a tight budget, (been there, and would love to make it back up to that level! LOL) and just looking for tool storage at home, you do not need a big box. The bigger the box, the more it will cost. The Sears sales on tool boxes are hard to beat. They regularly have the set that Brian showed on sale for a couple hundred bucks. Instead of a box the size of a house, and the bill to match, you can stand a couple of those sets side by side, and only have a few hundred in them. The nice part is that you do it a little at a time, like you get your tools. You don't go out and buy a big toolbox full of tools at one time, at least most don't. You can add to the box collection, as the tool collection grows.
Your toolbox is for tool storage, and does not reflect on the work that is done. I know a lot of so called mechanics and bodymen that have a lot of money in toolboxes, that are incompetent at best.
