That's funny, I watched a guy at work go back to get three or four warrantee air ratchets over about a week and a half as I remember it was. My Snap On, Matco and Mac air tools have lasted me DECADES (well some of them I havn't owned for Decades
).
In fact, my 3/8" Snap On air ratchet I bought USED off the truck about eight years ago and it is still running like a champ.
