Topcoating directly to filler...

I have a few small areas where I sanded through my 2k and can see Rage Gold underneath. The tech sheet says that it can be topcoated directly, but I just wanted to check what people think.

If I was painting this car yellow I wouldn't even think of it, but it's going to be single stage black. Seems like a little color variation in the substrate wouldn't make any difference.

Thanks...

I wouldn't paint directly over filler, at least hit those spots with sealer or spray a sealer coat like dbm said.
Is painting over filler ever done in bodyshops, yes. Is it a good idea, not really. Just asking for it to soak up solvent or those filler spots swell or have mapping (rings) that shows up in the paint work.
