Torpedo heater help !!

Got an old torpedo heater that's been working fine and just won't fire now.
I've been all thru everything. Got a good fog for the fuel, spark from pulling the plug and you can hear it buzzing with the fan/pump off when in place and I've checked the air pump filter and the fuel nozzle is fine. Not sure exactly what the gap should be on this plug but it's about 1/16".I've played with the gap but no luck, I'm thinking the coil is breaking down and it's just not a hot enough spark to fire it off.
Any ideas?

When mine went out on me, I just googled the name brand and came across some troubleshooting for it. Went step by step and worked great. Give that a try. Hopefully it's not too old though could pose a problem.
Only one way to find out!

I have had to take mine apart several times and clean out the pump part. It actually draws the fuel only when the fan is running. The pump gets dirty and will not draw fuel. They really don't take much spark to fire off. If you are sure it is getting fuel, the ignitor may have gone bad. Try lighting it with a propane torch from in front. Make sure you are standing on the side when you do this! If it lights, then check to make sure you are actually getting spark. The ignitor in one that I had went bad. It sounde like it was sparking, but it really wasn't.
