He has them specially built with heavy duty parts and funace brazed fins and says they work great in street rods. He said its rated at 1800 rpm so I,m wondering what the stall would be for my 331" sbc with Edelbrock alum. heads, Comp XE262H-10 cam, 9.50:1 comp, Edelbrock rpm air gap and 600 4150 Holley. The desk top dyno showed it at 349 hp @ 5500 rpm / 385 lb.ft. @ 4000 w/ closed exhaust. I,m thinking maybe 2200-2300, what do you guys think?? thanks, Dave
could be as hi as 2600-2800. it's hard to say because there are so many variables that are unknown, like , impeller blade angle (3 different common pitches), which stator does it have, how much clearance between turbine and impeller, is he cutting back the stator, and how much. etc etc.
just put it in and find out!
