Torque converter BB vs. SB
 

Maybe this isn't worth replying to but I'm kinka curious.

I pulled a 350/th400 combo out of a old suburban and I have a th400 in my 80 shortbed that was behind a 454, (still is but a different one.)

Now would the small block torque converter stall higher than the big block one if behind a big block? Just thought this might be a cheap trick.

A smaller diameter converter would stall slightly higher RPM than the larger one. The non lock t-350 converter and t-400 converter are swappable.
