Torque converter drain plug 700r4

Is there a specific location to install a drain plug on a 700R4 torque converter?

That's a good question, why wouldnt they put one in to begin with
IMO I'm sure if one is installed,it will throw balance off...if not in right place

Nope.... the slight difference in weight would be easily absorbed by the rotating fluid in the converter.

now if a large plug was used , there would be trouble.

I do not recommend drilling a lock up clutch equipped converter.

It can be done ... carefully. Between fin ribs, NOT on the front of the converter shell
