Torque Converter to Flexplate Torque Spec. Needed - 2004R
Have a "Revmax" converter for my 200-4R that I'm bolting up to a B&M flexplate - could use a torque recommendation (will use medium strength locktite and a lock washer). Also, this convertor is actually a smaller than stock unit with a welded-on mounting ring; therefore, I have clearance behind the ring to lock the bolts with a nut and lockwasher on the backside, after they are properly torqued. Would anyone recommend against this for any reason?
If the backside is not threaded , yes then put the lock washers on . i would use grade 8 or better yet ARP bolts. Size of bolt determines torque, probly 35 pounds i would guess without knowing your size of bolt. ARP flex plate bolts.
