torque converter interchangeability
I have a brand new stock torque converter for a 700-r4 and was woundering if it was compatable with my th-400 trans. I am rebuilding, are there torque converter cross refrences as to which transmissions share the same torque converter? I think the 700r4 converter is a lock up and I think the th400 is a non lock up. Thanks bunches.

but just for refrence are there any that are between trans? or does every trans have its own.

interchange
th-350 and th-400 intercahnge, and will interchange with a powerglide if it has the input shaft replaced with a th-shaft,,, but not with a stock one..
Also the lock-up, non-lock up are not interchangable even in the same family Keith
