Torque Converter Recommendation

OK, here's the scoop, I have a 350 SBC 435/435 with the following setup
edelbrock air gap manifold with 800 cfm carb
edelbrock cam 2204 234/234 @.050, 359 lift
TH 350 trans
ford 9 inch rear with 3.70 gear ratio

This is all going into my 1936 chevy master 2 door sedan.

Anyone suggest the correct torque converter ??

I'm thinking TCI street fighter 10" 3000 rpm stall. Am I right on, close, out in left field ??

Need additional info, let me know.

covertor

Crane has a similar cam and they recommend 3000 stall but recommend much lower gears. Personally I think your carb is way too big. I wouldn't run anything bigger than a 700. I have a 454 with a similar cam. I only run a 750 on it.

converter

If you are all out racing you may have a good setup but if you are driving it on the street I can't see a 3000 rpm converter. Also your carb is WAY too big. KEITH
