Post Torque Converter- Repair?

I just pulled the tranny for clutches, etc, but when I turned the torque converter, the internals rub... thats not supposd to happen... Its a nice TCI 9 inch, so replaceing it is a lot of $... Is there a way to repair it?

Theres a guy around here who builds stall coverters out of stock cores. So I figure someone should be able to fix yours, depending on how bad it is.Call all the tranny shops or hotrod fabricators and ask um who does that sort of thing.

I've got a friend who runs S/K speed in N.Y. They deal with a guy who builds converters. Call (516) 766 2225 ask for Kenny
