Torque Converter Stall Speed

Help

I still have the original GM stock torque converter in my 72 Nova 454 street car. The 454 was just redone and has a long duration high lift cam (2500-6000 rpm range) dual plane intake, ported heads, Holley 750 with vac secondary, etc. I am having the ring/pinion changed this winter to a 3.73. It is currently a stock 2.73 (don't laugh). This is a street car application, not a drag car. I am running a Turbo 350 trans with shift kit.

question #1: what is the approximate stock stall speed on the torque converter I have right now with the 454 pushing it? I'm guessing like 1500 rpm?

question #2: what is the recomended stall speed converter that I should purchase? remember this is not a "drag racing" car. don't just recommend the drag racing answer. this car will spend most of it's time under 3000 rpm with the occasional saturday night race with locals. I'm guessing something like 2500 rpm stall. Is that close?
