There isn`t a real way to know what it`ll add. If the rest of the valvetrain such as springs aren`t matched to the cam you`ll loose power instead of gaining it. Other factors play a role also, is the intake on the same side of the exhaust? if so that hurts power right there as it heats the mixture before it gets to the cylinder. Straight six shooters were meant for torque, as the majority of them have long rods, a small bore, a long stroke and a 1 barrel carb. That`s not to say it can`t be made to run, because it can, it just costs more.

Are you talking about a compcam 260H? if so, the 252H will make better off idle torque. Should be able to make 225 ftlbs of torque, maybe 275 ftlbs with more compression, better intake and exhaust, and some head work.

A little bowl work under the valves will help a lot.

A small tube header with single 2 1/2 inch pipe and a dynomax super turbo will help make torque.

An aftermarket 4bl intake designed for torque and a 450 cfm 4bl carb would also be a good idea.

Your engine makes 8:1 compression, that cam is only going to hurt. perfect if you had a Turbo.
