Torque Spec. - ?? Ford 8"
Can someone tell the the torque specs on this rear end? I put in my posi unit, and it is leaking around the 3rd member. Thanks!

the torque on the little nutsthat hold the thing in? i just use an air ratchet. did you use the copper washers? a gasket or goo?
i prefer goo, 90 percent of the factory axlles use goo. works good , seems to seal up better.

my trusty shop manual for my mustang says, for carrier to housing stud bolts- 30-40 ft-lbs for an 8 inch. I would use a gasket, this way it wont squeeze out.
