TORQUEFLIGHT TRANSMISSION


I have a 68 904 TF trans, and I want to put in a low gear set from an 87 lock up 904 TF..... also the 87 has a 5 clutch and is a lock up, where the original 68 has 3 clutch non lock up, can i swap everything from the 87 Lock up trans to the 68 trans, I already know i have to change the 87 input shaft to the 68 non lock up input shaft, and i would have to use the 68 valve body,,, is there anything else, will the 68 front pump be OK to use with the 5 clutch drum from the 87? or will i have to use another year front pump, some one said i will need a 78 non lock up belved pump?? what is a belved pump, the 87 and 68 front pump look identical on the out side and almost identical on the inside, also is the 68 front pump the same as a 78 non lock up front pump?????
