Post total frame swaps

I need Advice. has anyone ever swaped an entire frame, I want to take the body off my 1950 chevy coupe and put it on my 74 pickup frame, then I have disk brakes,a small block, and all the goodies.help...

If you take a tape measure to the two vehicles and compare the wheelbase, front and rear track widths and the shape of the two frames you'll probably find there are a lot of differences. The swap could probably be done with enough cutting and welding of just about everything, but there are easier(and probably safer) ways to upgrade that 50 Chevy without cutting up two vehicles. If it isn't done right, the more a car is cut up, the lower the resale value(even as parts).
