clean and mark the timing marks so you can see them plainly. Use white paint or even better white out from an office supply you have laying around.There is a diagnostic connector under the hood and read the label.the diagrahm usually is inside the cap over the connector. It shows a picture of the diagnostic connector and which 2 conections to jump for setting the timing to base timing for proper adjustment of the distributor
