Toyoto alternator for my 671?

My friend Rob whose installing the blower said I have to get a Japanesse alternator to replace the GM one.........not much room up front! Any ideas would help........thanks

i've seen a few guys use the ones off older toyota cressida's and supras early 80's straight 6 cars

Thanks, I,ll do some checking around this week!!!!!!!! looks like ive got a few mods to make as the truck has an early camaro front clip.
