Question track width measurement

Hello all!
I have a quick question with my 53 chevy club coupe.

What is the track width measurement on the front of this car. my frame has no front end to it at all. I would like to know so that i can figure on what front suspension to use that comes close to it .
i have read about this but have had no luck finding the measurements. i have a shop manual for the car but it does not give any measurement. I hope any of you can help..

P.s. just a thought would any of you know around what donor cars could be used for a possible frame swap for this particular car. and what years would work. i know this has probable been asked before but when i try to look it up it takes me no where. so if you could help me. it would be grately appreaciated a lot. thanks.

Measure the rear track. It wouldn't be much different then the front...
I would suggest looking at a "G" body frame. Monte Carlo, Cutlass, Regal, Grand Prix from '81 to '87. It's going to be pretty close and there is a lot of performance parts available for the suspension and brakes.

Hey Bill,
The only recourse you have is to measure the width of the body from wheel well to wheel well. Measure from the inside lip. Once you have these numbers you can hit the junk yards and start measuring donor cars... I would think the "G" bodied cars are going to be your best bet though and doing a frame swap is a lot easier then trying to adapt suspensions and drivetrains to an older frame....
Good hunting
Mark
